The water return SV-2825 is made of high quality ABS material, with 1.5inch and 2inch for option. The flow rate can be adjusted.
How To Position Pool Return Jets?
All pools should aim to achieve a vortex, differentiating one pool from another. While it might seem that the water is barely moving, it should actually be circulating in a vortex. This circulation pattern aims to optimize the functionality of pool skimmers, which are designed to draw in floating surface debris and the vortexing action is also likely to gather physical debris on the pool floor, bringing it to the center where it can be drawn in by the main drains (if present) and sent through the filtration system. In the absence of an active main drain, pools would accumulate debris in the center of the floor, allowing for easy spot vacuuming
Turbulence causes pH rise – The first thing to know about aiming your pool jets is that you do not want to aim them such that they are causing aeration at the surface of the water. Turbulence like this adds oxygen to the water and will significantly increase your pH over time. To raise pH without affecting alkalinity, consider running a waterfall or directing return eyelets toward the water surface to create turbulence. However, in pools, especially salt chlorine pools, high pH is often a persistent issue. Avoid exacerbating it by directing return jets too high and creating turbulence.
Aiming return jets too low – You often will hear advice to aim your return jets down to help with better circulation of your water. In well-designed pools, you shouldn’t be dealing with this problem. Main drains should draw water from the deep end and return near the surface through the returns jets. If your pool experiences thermocline issues, I don’t recommend directing the returns downward as a solution. While every pool is unique, compromising the water vortex for improved floor circulation is not advisable in my opinion. Regular brushing, vacuuming, swimming and regular filtration should be enough that this is never an issue in your pool.
